Merry Christmas a few weeks late! We have had a very exciting Christmas season! Emerson enjoyed her christmas very much. She has mastered the art of opening gifts. She loves opening gifts- even if the gift isn't hers! She must have been very good because Santa brought her a ton of gifts this year. She has no lack of things to keep her busy. Our living room has been renamed to Emerson's play room- where Mom & Dad keep the tv and couches! We got up bright and early on Christmas day for Emerson to find her stash of new toys & clothes. We then ate breakfast and got ready for the day. We spent some well deserved just us family time which was fun to watch her get into all of her new stuff. Later in the afternoon we headed off to Troy & Robins where the rest of the family was driving in from various parts of Kansas. Emerson is a huge fan of her Cousins, Aunts, Uncles, Grandma, Papa, and of course Ace Uncle Troy's dog. She scored big there with presents as well on Sunday! Of course the gift giving isn't over yet. We have the Kehrt family Christmas later in January!
Things started to get back to normal until Wednesday. The three of us headed off to one of my Dr' appts to see when we may get the arrival of 2.0. Dr. said it could be today, it could by 2 weeks but not over 2 weeks or we will induce. So back to work I went. A few hours later, we were in the hospital working on getting 2.0 here just in time to claim that tax deduction for Daddy. He joined us late that night and is a beautiful little boy!!!!

There is none more proud than his big sister Emerson! She is very protective of her "Buddy" or "little Bro" as she calls him. There was even an episode when we brought him home where he started crying, so she started crying, and then Mommy started crying because they were both crying!!! She loves to give him kisses on the head and rub his back. She is a very good big sister!!
Sorry for the long post.....a lot of news! Here are the pictures!
