Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

Everyone is back to work and at daycare now. All is well, I am actually glad to be back among adults on a daily basis! I think I have always been pretty honest that I love my children very much and cherish every minute I get to spend with them. BUT, I am a much better Mommy, Wife, and person if I go to work. And since Bruce doesn't make endless amounts of money- I don't have a choice :)

Emerson is loving having "Her Isaac" at daycare with her. She is his protector so I know exactly what happens every day. She loves daycare and now that Isaac's newness has worn off for her, coming home from daycare is once again a struggle. That is a good problem to have I know. She is still a nightowl and hates getting up in the morning. I have used some of the unfair tactics my dad used on me as a teenager. Turing on the light, pulling the covers off the bed, jumping on the end of the bed all while yelling "Good Morning! Its a beautiful day outside, its time to get up!" And for the record, NO I have not turned into a morning person, it is just as painful for me as it is for her.


Isaac is growing! He had his 2 month appt this week. He is a little over 12# and 22.25" long. Stocky little man! He isn't as long as Emerson but he is almost 3# heavier than she was at 2 months. He still has some acid reflux so they are keeping on the medications for a little longer. He is a very happy laid back baby. He loves to laugh and smile. He is still sleeping good getting up usually only 1 time at night but he is an earlier riser which is different from Emerson.

Since the kids and I can honestly say there is Irish in us. We all hope everyone has a very Happy St. Patrick's day!!!
